| We found a washing machine atop one of the Tavernas, we ran our clothes thru two cycles of washing and still they didn't get clean. The detergent was still coated to the clothes, so actually some were dirtier than when they went in to the washer. Of course there was no dryer, so we decorated our boat with our wet laundry, which dried quite quickly. That explains why there was no dryer, it wasn't necessary. Actually, the washer wasn't necessary either, since it didn't clean the clothes. One could get them just as clean by taking them into the shower and hosing them down. |

| We ate together quite often, the socializing after a hard day of sailing was really the highlight of the trip. We met many wonderful people. |
